John E. Crouthamel, Founder/CEO

John Crouthamel’s career in direct marketing began thirty years ago at Grolier Incorporated where his management skills and vision enabled the company to design, develop, and launch the first automated outbound telephone dialing and data management system of its kind.

Today, as founder and CEO zConnex Group, John Crouthamel, brings a multitude of corporate leadership in the direct marketing industry to the company. In addition to his role as CEO, John is responsible for Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Call Center CRM Quality, and Voice Technology interface programs.

Prior to founding zConnex Group, John served as Vice President of Network Services at WebMD in the company’s Practice Service division. He architected a national support center program that consolidated WebMD’s national network of 50 offices into a centralized National Call Center. He also stepped up to the plate to reorganize and refocus a large corporate division hard hit by changes mandated by the federal government’s HIPPA act.

John was a co-founder of Intelogistics, Inc., where he served as CEO and President, until the company joined forces with Prosodie Interactive, one of the world’s leading Hosted ASP IVR providers. At Prosodie, he was responsible for all daily operations of the company, including directs sales and marketing efforts across a diverse group of product lines.

Prior to this, John served as President of FirstCall Communications, where he positioned the technology company as a full-service CRM provider. During John’s tenure, the organization earned four major industry awards, including the American Telemarketing Association’s prestigious “TELO AWARD.”

Another key management position held by John Crouthamel was as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Neodata Services’ Telemedia and Services Division. In this role he lead on of the largest staffs in the U.S., providing both inbound and outbound teleservices along with ancillary marketing services to 800 leading direct marketing organizations.

Prior to Neodata, John served as Vice President of Marketing Support for Field Publications, where he headed up one of the largest telephone service agency networks of its kind in the U.S. He integrated data modeling into the direct marketing process and helped create the companies “Regression Technologies approach to telemarketing.” He was also credited with fine-tuning the “art of inertia marketing,” which enabled Field Publications to become the largest domestic publisher and distributor of children’s publications.

Charles McEnroe, Printing and Insert Programs

Chuck McEnroe has been involved in the marketing, and information services industries for over 30 years. In 1966, he started as a computer operator producing analytical reports. He was then drafted into the US Army where he served as an infantry soldier in Vietnam. After returning to computer operations, Chuck soon advanced into computer programming, systems analysis and later he became a VP of major service bureaus.

Chuck has worked for companies such as AT&T, Consumers Union, Direct Marketing Resources, American Express and others. As a result of the 9/11 corporate restructuring, he developed the CTM Consulting Services Co. which later expanded it’s services to become The McEnroe Group (TMG). As president of TMG, services are provided in the areas of process improvement, marketing campaign support including strategic planning, design, implementation and management.

Much of TMG’s success is attributable to the use of state of the art technology in the following areas:

  • Name Acquisition – mailing list procurement order entry, IVR, Web, etc.
  • Database Management – entry, maintenance, reporting, data mining, target market and name selection
  • Printing – sales support material, brochures, media kits, direct mail packages

Jeff Felman, Sales

Jeff Felman has a background in the telecommunications arena from the unique and discrete perspectives of sales, marketing and operations. Mr. Felman brings over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry to CPC. Prior to joining CPC, he served as Vice President, Regional Sales Director for Patriot Communications, a reseller of integrated telecom services, and was responsible for the sales and management of Patriot’s East Coast Regional Office, as well as the management of a nationalwide staff of sales and engineering professionals.

A software programmer by trade, Mr. Felman holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He began his career in telecommunications software programming with Robin & Dackerman, a leading Los Angeles telecommunications consulting firm in 1989.

He was hired by Patriot (then Western Interactive Media, a division of Initiative Media) in Los Angeles, California in 1995 as Operations Manager and was subsequently promoted three times to Director of Operations, Vice President of Network Operations and ultimately transferred to Philadelphia and promoted to Vice President, Director of Regional Sales.

Mr. Felman was responsible for signing several prestigious Fortune 500 accounts at Patriot. Mr. Felman has been instrumental in the design, development and deployment of thousands of interactive voice response and live operator applications, which to-date have served over 300 million calls. Mr. Felman founded CPC in 2002.

Jeremy Lytle, Marketing Creative Director / Copywriter

Jeremy Lytle brings 20+ years of creative marketing experience to zConnex Group. Whether you need a marketing concept and the words for a new website, a concept for a national ad campaign rollout, the wording for a direct mail packet to push the return envelope, or quick response to get any marketing tactic out the door ASAP … Jeremy has been there, done that, and is always ready to do it again.

He was Co-Founder and Creative Director of Weisz Lytle Advertising, a regional agency located in South Florida for ten years. Prior to that he was Creative Director of Gerbino Advertising and the Senior Writer at Group 3hree Advertising, which, at the time, was Florida’s largest ad agency. In 1997 he joined the award winning graphic design firm, Peter James Design, and since 2001 has been consulting as a freelance creative director and writer. Ross Scheidecker, International Production

Ross brings 25+ years of manufacturing operation experience to the zConnex Group. His experience encompasses backgrounds in the fields of Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing and General Management. His product expertise consists of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment serving the Telecommunications, Industrial, Automotive and Consumer markets.

Ross has held the positions of Director Total Quality, General Manager, Director of Operations and Director of New Product Development. Ross has been responsible for obtaining ISO and QS certifications, implementing TQM disciplines and executing Lean Manufacturing in facilities worldwide. He has successfully established offshore manufacturing joint ventures, relocating over $10M of annual production.

After working for Fortune 100 companies Ross founded Tricel Tech. Tricel’s business concentration is to facilitate the alignment of Domestic and Canadian OEM’s with offshore Contract Manufacturers [CM]. These OEM’s are looking to improve their product cost basis or their manufacturing flexibility. In some cases the outsourcing even includes engineering design. The CM designs the product from the OEM concept, provides prototypes and moves to full production. To accomplish this, Ross has qualified several highly capable off-shore manufacturers which provide expertise in metal and plastic fabrication as well as electrical / electronic assembly.

Darren Pace, Creative Consultant

Darren Pace has over 8 years experience in multimedia, graphic design, print advertising and creative marketing. He specializes in Providing Creative Consulting Expertise and Graphic Instruction. Darren is credited for the visual online presence of zConnex Group by utilizing the latest software and creative techniques. His commitment is evident in zConnex Group’s level of quality customer service and attention to detail.

Previously Darren worked with leading companies including Prosodie Interactive, Intelogistics, Scripps Research Institute and The Weitz Company. His responsibilities range in magnitude from conception to assembly and coordinating and sharing resources with all departments within the company in an effort to reach a common goal.
